Day 3

Wow, are my hamstrings sore and tight today from Plyometrics.  I have been increasing my protein intake to try to hit 50% which is really tough to do.  I have used protein bars and whey protein to supplement.  I bought some creatine today and took it before and after arms and shoulders and it really seemed to help with stamina.  I made it through that workout without a lot of trouble, but man, are my triceps gonna hurt tomorrow.  Does anyone else use or recommend creatine.  One of the side effects I do not like is water retention and I could tell that my hands were a little swollen.  My goal is to lose 40 lbs and gain strength, flexibility and stamina.  Down 2 lbs since I started and hope to see that increase.  Does anyone know of a place to find recipes that fit the program other than the nutrition guide?  Yoga tomorrow.  That should be fun, as I have never done it before.

Day 2

Woke up with a lot of soreness in my chest back and arms, but have been sticking to the diet plan pretty well.  I use LoseIt on my iPhone to track intake, ratios, weight loss, etc.  I highly recommend it.  Plyometrics is the program of the day, and Tony says it is the toughest.  Man I hope so.  That was the most brutal workout I have ever done.  We managed to get a little more than half done and could not do any more.  I guess that's a starting point, but, I hope we can finish it next week.

Day 1

Day 1 has begun.  I did a lot of research to prepare myself for this challenge, and now it's here.  My wife and I are doing the Classic program together.  I had been in a good weightlifting regimen, but slacking a lot the last 2 months.  Well, that came back to bite me good.  The chest and back workout was so super intense, but we made it through.  Had to skip AB Ripper today due to time constraints.
